To Karachi with love
Rebuild-Rebound is a civil initiative by Indus Valley School of Art and
Architecture alumni in collaboration with D.U.CK (Designer's united for a
cause) to raise funds for those affected by the Ashura blast in Karachi last
December. Recently, the group organised their first event “To Karachi With
Love: Fashion for change," a fashion collective followed by an in-store
fashion walk showcasing the work of more than 50 Pakistani designers. The
proceeds from the event were donated for the rehabilitation of victims of
the Karachi blast and riots after. It seems being fashion conscious can also
help Karachiites have a social conscience. The group is now preparing for
its second event, a two-day art exhibit followed by concert
