Musharraf was addressing a group of students over the phone from London where he is living now, reported a private TV channel. "Pakistan again will be on the track of progress with the efforts of the All Pakistan Muslim League," he said, adding that he needed the people's support to change the "fate of Pakistan".
He emphasized that Pakistani youth can play a crucial role in the progress and prosperity of the nation.
Musharraf had formed the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), earlier this year and has expressed the desire to contest the next parliamentary polls in Pakistan. APML had launched an 'official' recruitment drive in Karachi earlier this week, to gather the public support.
