Election Commission of Pakistan declares 37.2 million fake
Election Commission of Pakistan declared that at least 37. 7 million votes that were registered in the 2007 were fake.
The statement issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan 'ECP' today on Wednesday March 09, 2011 states that the National Database and Registration Authority 'NDRA' did not authenticated at least 37.2 million votes out of 82 million registered voters in the voters lists of 2007.
The National Database and Registration Authority 'NADRA' also registered another 3.65 million new voters since 2007 in its database that brought the total figure of the registered voters to 85.4 million.
The statement says that the National Database and Registration Authority 'NADRA' will launch a door-to-door voter's verification campaign in July 2011.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has ordered 'NADRA' to complete the verification of the voters by December 2011.
