Shandur polo festival

The Shandur polo festival – better known as the polo competition on the rooftop of the world – was won by Chitral in 2008. They beat Gilgit 9-7 in the final held at the highest polo ground in the world. The Shandur festival attracts a great number of local and foreign spectators.
