Carla Khan – Pakistan's number one player in women's squash announced her retirement from the game in 2008, citing injuries and lack of support from the Pakistan Squash Federation. The news came as a shock as Carla had been performing well on the international circuit and Pakistan will have to wait a while before another quality squash player emerges from the women's circuit.
